About the project
The Brief
YPO Greater Cape tasked us with filming and photographing their exclusive event at the Hugo Lambrechts Music Centre, designed for all its members. The event included pre-drinks, keynote speeches from sponsors such as Fairtree, and a prominent rugby coach, Neil Powell. Following the talks, there was a performance by opera singer Lynelle Kenned, pianist Stefan Lombard, and the symphony orchestra from the Hugo Lambrechts Music Centre. Our objective was to capture both the formal and entertainment aspects, ensuring high-quality visuals for promotional use.
The Solution
We developed a filming and photography plan that focused on capturing the essence of each segment. For the pre-drinks, we concentrated on candid shots of guests mingling. During the talks, we positioned our cameras strategically to capture both the speakers and the audience's engagement. For the entertainment portion, we focused on the performers, capturing the intensity of Lynelle Kenned's opera and the symphony orchestra's performance, ensuring that each moment was highlighted beautifully.
Involvement
The media captured was tailored for digital platforms. The footage and photos were used by YPO Greater Cape to showcase the event across their social media platforms and newsletters, offering members and sponsors a chance to relive the evening. The images highlighted the event’s elegance, from pre-drinks to the powerful performances, ensuring that it could be promoted effectively to their network.
